Welcome to my March dividend and options income post. March is a big dividend payout month. I’m excited to share my record earning month, and I’m hopeful that all of you broke dividend income records too. My March dividend income is $864.87 . I also earned options income of $757.20. My total March dividend and options income is $1,622.07.
I set a 2017 goal of $7,500 in dividend income and $7,500 in options income. To succeed, I need to keep up an average monthly total of $625 in dividends and $625 in options. At the end of Q1, I’m slightly over-pacing with $1,908.32 in dividend income. This is an annual pace of $7,633.28. I was nervous about pacing the first two-months of the year, but a strong March has pushed me ahead of schedule.
At the end of Q1, my options income is $2,992.70. I’m ahead of pace by $1,117.70. This buffer is good for me because I’ve slowed my options activity due to low volatility, there’s not many premiums I’m interested in.
March Dividend Income
I was paid by dividends from 26 sources. The largest dividend income came from Target and Qualcomm. My average daily dividend income totaled $28.89.
