A 341 Meeting is hopefully something you never need to know the definition of. Sadly, I’ve been in a 341 Meeting. It’s called the Meeting of Creditors. This meeting occurs for any person who’s filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. This meeting takes place in front of a Bankruptcy trustee. All creditors are notified of the meeting. Creditors can attend the meeting to contest the bankruptcy. This means they still want to be paid. Creditors rarely show up to these meetings.
