Howdy friends. I’ve been on a blogging hiatus the past few months. As many of you know, I went knee-deep into cryptocurrencies. We’ll today, I’m neck-deep. I’ve spent the past 8-months educating myself on Bitcoin, Blockchain, Altcoins, Exchanges, and more.
It’s been an amazing 8-month journey; A journey that has led to economic certainty for me and my family. I never thought that I’d find an investment space where striking gold and striking gold often is possible. In my opinion, cryptocurrency investing is actually quite easy to do. All it takes is the willingness to learn, desire, and intent. With these three things in balance, building wealth through crypto investing is all but certain.
I’ve tested all sorts of investing strategies and I’ve pretty much joined and tested most exchanges. I’ve also invested in a bunch of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). I’ve made a handful of mistakes, but nothing major. Fast forward to today; I own a massive portfolio of bitcoin and altcoins. I’m also invested in 16 top-notch ICOs; all of them coming to exchanges by the end of Q2.
The best part about my journey with cryptocurrencies is that aside from a one-time $10k bitcoin investment just before Thanksgiving, I’ve never added more capital than I allocated in my initial cryptocurrency investment.
The learning curve in the cryptocurrency investing space is a steep one. It’s not technically hard, but ensuring that you understand the risks and the many ways that your money could be lost or stolen is crucial to early success in this space. The learning curve is steep, but so too is the potential reward.
It’s common for an altcoin to gain or lose 25% in a single day. This type of volatility makes this market perfect for an investor like me. I treat this space like options, except instead of waiting months for an option to expire; I usually cash out within 72-hours.
The Future of Investment Hunting
I’m stepping away from day-to-day operations at Investment Hunting. But, I’m still overseeing operations. I’m also pivoting the messaging and theme of this blog to bitcoin and blockchain focused posts. Soon, my team and I will be launching a handful of high quality sites in the crypto space; each with a specific focus.
For now, a few close friends and family members will be taking over most posts on this blog. They will test a bunch of content pieces written about different areas of the blockchain. Then, we’ll check performance and engagement. Insights learned here will be used to decide the direction and content strategies of my new websites.
My Blogging Future
I’ll write a post or two a month on this blog. I’ve been too busy learning to invest the time required to run an effective and interesting blog. When I mentioned that I’m neck-deep, well more like I’m underwater. I’ve used every spare minute I have the past 8-months to earn an advanced degree in this entire ecosystem. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been so worth it.
I was able to quickly achieve wealth, which is the #1 goal. However, throughout my learning process, I’ve made several friends connected to bitcoin. These friends have given me instant access and credibility in this space. I’m capitalizing on this access now. I’m not sure if I’ll write many posts, but I will be overseeing a few new cryptocurrency focused websites. The first is launching in about 45 days.
What I’m Doing Today
Today, I’m still at the same job. My third anniversary is in March. My future at the company is uncertain. I always knew I’d leave someday, but that date is approaching decades ahead of schedule.
I’ve immediately proven my value to many of my contacts in the crypto space. Today, I’ve joined the board of directors for a new KYC coin that’s pre-ICO. The coin is going ICO in June. I’m very excited about being an internal partner. I’ll be able to learn what it takes internally to plan for and execute an effective ICO.
After this launch, I have a bunch of opportunities in this space. I’ll likely become a strategic advisor to a few coins that I believe in. I’ll help those coins with their digital marketing strategies. Time will tell. I’m not sure where, I’ll end up. But, I know for a fact, that I’ll be working in the cryptocurrency space.
What’s the Future of Bitcoin and Blockchains
The future is so very bright. I often say that we’re in the 2nd inning of an extra inning baseball game. The blockchain is still an infant, still learning to walk. It’s very reminiscent of the dot-com era. The same establishment told us it would fail, that it was a Ponzi Scheme. Boy were they wrong. They’re more wrong this time. Of course there will be massive corrections and Ponzi Schemes. This is true of any space where money if freely moving. But just like back in the dot-com days, those who believed and got in early, laughed all the way to the bank.
Bitcoin is so much more than a stabilized currency that replaces local currencies. Bitcoin is hope. It’s hope for those who need it the most. And it’s become an unstoppable movement. It’s changing the world. Bitcoin is the great equalizer. Bitcoin is delivering the distribution of wealth promised to us by our governments. Not by our leaders (these people had nothing to do with it; they don’t want us to live lives of abundance).
Bitcoin and its’ early believers, paved the way with their faith. Bitcoin and this movement remind me very much of the Rebellion from Star Wars. Bitcoin is anti-government and anti-establishment, but pro-people and pro-privacy. Most importantly, bitcoin is for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all people; regardless of boarders. Bitcoin doesn’t discriminate. If you despise big brother, big corporations, and wealth hoarding; you’ve found a home in the decentralized online ledger world.
I get this all the time in comments. So, I’ll repeat it again. It’s not about the coins. It’s about the tech. Many coins will fail, but the blockchain isn’t going away. If you’re one of those who still believes that this movement is all a Ponzi Scheme, it could be time for you to question your cognitive skills. I’m not saying that you should invest; that’s a personal choice. But, denying the obvious when it’s right in front of your face; we’ll that’s just silly.
I envision a world in the very near future the blockchain revolutionizes most of todays industries. Don’t believe me, do a little homework on who’s entering this space. Look at the patent filings. Look at who’s funneling their money into this space under VC’s and hedge funds. The same companies telling you to run away from cryptocurrencies are the same ones locking down patents all over the cryptocurrency space. Venture capital, angels, philanthropists, and more are pumping capital into the space. These people don’t chase Ponzi Schemes. These are brightest tech and money minds in the world.
Most new crypto businesses will fail. Many will fail before they even launch a product. But some will win. These winners will be the new Google, Amazon, and Facebook. Many established companies will pivot to the blockchain in time to maintain their dominance. Others will be too late or they’ll get there and not find the same support they received from their stock investors.
Big evil companies will fail no matter how they enter the blockchain. Because this new economy movement and the rebels supporting it; we’ll they are fiercely loyal to the cause. They DO NOT support the empire. We could see, and I hope we do – see Internet giants disappear.
Friends, the revolution has begun. I’d love for all of you to join me and my new team of writers on this journey. If you don’t want to, I understand. I’m not here to change your minds. I never have been here for that purpose. I just write about the investment vehicles that I use to create my own personal wealth.
I can honestly say that I’m happier now than I can ever remember. I finally found my passion and it’s all things blockchain. I love everything about this space; except for the scammers. But they’ll get weeded out in-time.
