Stock Sell – JetBlue

This content was saved from the old investmenthunting.com website, in case anyone was still looking for it (with the help of archive.org)

I’ve done a little portfolio house cleaning the past few days. Yesterday I closed out my position in JetBlue (JBLU). I sold 50 shares at $25.36 per share. I held JBLU for 8-months and turned a profit of $439.26. I really like the company and I think it has a strong earnings future. The only reason why I sold is because JBLU does not pay a dividend. I knew this when I bought it, but after some reflection I decided that by the end of 2016 I want only dividend paying stocks in my portfolio.  Selling now allowed me to keep my gains and returned me $1,704 dollars to reinvest in another stock.  Right now I am looking at ADM, UNP, or CMI to put this money towards.

Have you sold any positions lately?
