Good Reads – 36,000 Feet Edition. Yep, I’m somewhere between 33,000 and 38,000 feet. I love red-eye flights. A few cocktails, then I’m blogging while everyone around me sleeps. This is where I am now and what I’m doing. Since I’m flying high like a God, I’ve dedicated this high-flying Good Reads to a few blogging Gods.
Flying High Reads
Sam, the Financial Samurai wrote a great piece on how to make money as a blogger. I know, tons of bloggers write about how to make money as a blogger. What makes Sam different is that he actually makes money blogging.
Sam again had a great post titled, “How To Obtain A Zero Percent Mortgage To Live For Free.” Wow, what a title! I told you Sam is a God. Anyone who sees this title will click on it.
Sure Dividend explained 101 Financial Ratios & Metrics To Improve Your Investing Skills. This serves as a good refresher course for all of us.
J. Money was on a role this week. He had a couple of posts that resonated with me. “The Hundred Things List” which is a fantastic read, and his “Would You Rather”…series. This edition is Cash vs Debt.
I don’t know how popular Add Vodka is, maybe not a God yet, but I loved this post. I seriously laughed a lot reading this. Let’s just say if I knew how much my sperm were worth I would have canceled my vasectomy surgery. The post is titled “Ways to Make Money: Sell Your Body.”
Allan at The Practical Saver, wrote a post about the “13 Simple Money Rules.” This post serves as a good reminder of how to think about money and saving.
Time to go, my flight is landing. SFO to NYC. Two great cities that I get to visit and live in. I’m so lucky.
I hope you enjoy this series of good reads. If you posted something you want to share please submit it in the comments section. Better yet send me links to your good reads and maybe I’ll profile one of them next time.
